Welcome to Koronya Shoe Making Courses. We love shoes as much as we love the process of making them. We would like to share this passion and the satisfaction of holding a pair of fine handmade shoes with others. Also we would like to prove those naysayers wrong, who claim that making shoes with hands is a dying art. That is why we started these courses. That everyone, who share the love and respect towards shoes or this beautiful craft, can appreciate the experience. We offer a wide range of shoe making courses suitable for every level and field of interest.
Thanks to the straighforward way of instruction, as well as the effective hands-on learning experience, all the participants now hold useful knowledge of the craft. We are proud that every course resulted maximum satifaction and every participant, regardless of their experience, was able to successfully entirely finish a pair of shoes.
The Teacher
Marcell Mrsán, accredited master shoemaker, professor of accessory design
As a descendent of a leathercraft family of 6 generations, Marcell is truly devoted to traditions. He completed his shoemaking studies in trade school, but has never stopped learning from his own experience, fellow shoemakers and his students as well. He is now the owner and the master shoemaker of Koronya Handmade Shoes And Boots.
He’s been recently offered to teach as an accessory design professor at Savannah College Of Art And Design.
